Geko Publishing is a black-owned, young and independent publishing company based in Johannesburg. We are fearless, risk-taking and passionate publishing house who is keen to publish work that is feared by other publishers. Geko specialises in fiction, biography, fantasy, poetry, African folklore and vernacular. Since its establishment in 2007, Geko has published over 19 titles.
Our mission is ‘Freedom. To write’ – the expression of creative writing on a free-thinking platform. We create, support and publish local works with the aim of putting local talent on the global map. Ours is a complete in-house publishing solution that handles all the editing, subbing, proofing and layout and design of all the titles that we produce or get involved in. We also offer Publishing as a Service (or PaaS) to authors who want to publish themselves.

Enthusiastically strategize bricks-and-clicks growth strategies rather than multidisciplinary sources. Author formulate go forward methods of empow rather than technically sound information.
